I have email proof of all the above and will gladly send it along to anyone in need. changing a price at the 11th hour when most other venues are already rented and reserved is outragous and an egregious way to conduct business. This business will take advantage of the opportunity at hand. Today, 5/18/23, we were just sent a NEW quote from Steve (Port Management Theater) where the grand total ballooned from $5,912.88 to $19,200.76!!! We have 2 months until our event, and we have been blindsided. There was NO change to our event whatsoever besides the seating arrangement. We just had our second walk through 5/17/23 with Kristi and she confirmed everything from our initial quote minus a change to seating costs (adjusted for more seats). They kept trying to upsell us more time in the venue, which we did not need. Fast forward to March 2023 and we emailed Celina asking for directions to pay our deposit. Email communications continued with Celina throughout 8/2022 and we were given permission to postpone a down payment at the time. We had our first walk through with Celina in 8/2022 (with our event stated for 7/2023) and after seeing the space and discussing our needs, were given an agreeable estimate. 15.If you are looking to rent this venue, I HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere. Top activities: Path of the Gods, Marina di Praia, and Torre Ascoila. Even if you visit for a day trip, we suggest squeezing Praiano onto your itinerary. 3900 E Coast Hwy, Corona del Mar, Newport Beach, CA 92625-2649 +1 94 Website. It is one of the most iconic towns on the Amalfi Coast. 18 reviews 3 of 5 Quick Bites in Corona del Mar Quick Bites Italian Deli. ![]() If you book a boat tour, you can almost guarantee it will stop at Praiano. Praiano is now visited as one of the most aesthetic spots along the Amalfi Coast. It is also a prime hiking destination, with access to the Path of the Gods from Praiano, which snakes up into the mountains above the town. Luckily for Praiano, its rather wild first impression is rescued by much more hospitably colored buildings and a maze of pastel-painted private residences. Praiano’s coast is rocky and unhospitable looking in sections, with alcoves and sea caves scooped out of the cliffs randomly.Īnd a rocky outcrop sits offshore as a tiny jagged island. The shoreline of Praiano is dramatic and full of character, with the squeezed sunbathers on the alcove beach, Marina di Praia, and historical ruins of the Torre Asciola to the east. Praiano is one of the Amalfi Coast towns right on the oceanfront and the best place to visit for an intense aesthetic. Top activities: Viewpoints, Falesia Pietrapiana climbing area, Malopasso hikes, and cafe hopping 6. Heading to Tramonti is one of the best ways to get a scenic panorama of the coast below. Expect hikes and stunning coastline views, a significant bonus of heading up into the mountains for a better vantage point. The area isn’t actually just one village or town, but a collection of hamlets – aka very small villages. Historically, many believe Tramonti to have been founded by Romans. ![]() It is where you’ll find olive groves, farmers grazing sheep, and lemon trees. Tramonti is much more agricultural than the touristy towns and villages along the shoreline. And to get to this mountain area, you’ll need to drive or catch a bus (or otherwise brave an hour and 20 minutes on foot just one way from Maoiri). Tramoniti is one of the most mountainous collections of Amalfi Coast villages you can visit. However, before we venture west to Minori, let’s quickly cover Tramonti. Top activities: Palazzo Mezzacapo Gardens, Villa Romana e Antiquarium, Sentiero dei Limoni, and Spiaggia di Maiori. So this town is best suited to go-getter types of tourists.īest way to get here: Rental car, bus, or ferry. Maiori itineraries are full of more than local food and a small beach. Picture castles, Roman villas, and hikes to historical churches. This Amalfi Coast town is packed with history – from the medieval period and beyond – and is somewhere to visit if you want historical attractions and sightseeing. While we will treat them as different destinations for this guide, it is good to remember that you can complete both towns (and their respective attractions) in a single excursion. The two towns run into each other, with town centers just a 20-minute walk apart. Maiori has been a popular holiday destination since the Roman times, and you can still visit the Roman villas and historical sites left in the town and its almost directly adjacent town, Minori. Maiori might be a small coastal town, but it is by no means under the radar, and trust us, it never has been.
